O-Leviate Ominous Strands, be Outrageous with Ombres

Although we are almost sure that 10 years from now this do will be quite disastrous, Ombre looks are sweeping the nation one neo hippie at a time. And why not jump on this lustrous little red wagon?

From Striking to Subtlety, ombres are by far the quickest, cheapest and easiest way to change up your locks.

Pay Homage to your Ombre and learn how to distress your strands here!

1. First purchase your cheapest highlighting kit with the prettiest girl on the box. We always go for the loyal Frost N Tip. Not only is it $9.99 at your nearest Publix, but the name itself is pure marketable genius.

2. Slap on some murderous gloves.

3. Mix your solution following the directions (for those that do not like to read, we took pretty pictures for you)

4. Grab an old towel to drape around your neck (Mexican poncho style is the best)

5. Grab a big chunk of dye in your hands

6. Paste (thickly) on the last inch and half of your hair (also while renovating your new home)

7. Continue slapping the bleach throughout the last inch of your hair

8. Let that sit for about 3-5 min

9. For a more subtle look (Amber), start with the bleach glob at the end of your hair and use your finger to spread the dye up as far as you'd like your ombre to go.

10. For more striking look, A la Ashley, slap on more bleach globs and work your way to as high up as you'd like to go.

11. We always recommend some what framing your face in the front with bleach (A little higher in the very front)

12. Let the dye sit for 15-30 min. You will see your hair starting to take color.

13. If your hair does not pull color easily, try putting a plastic bag over the hair and blow dry for a 1-5 minutes using low heat.

14. Wash your hair, blow, and style with some pretty DHH waves!

BUMBLE BONUS: Want to get Amber's hair?
Short hair isn't always the easiest to curl. If your hair is anything like Amber's, it frizzes when it air dries and to curl it she has to straighten it first. That's crazy talk. Buy yourself some free time and throw in some Bumble & Bumble untextured cream on the ends of your hair and Lightly blow dry. This cream will bring out the natural body in your hair while keeping away the unwanted frizz. Next, play off of your natural waves and curl a few pieces of hair to polish up the look.

This cream is worth every dollar you'll spend on it and Perfect for a mom of three on the go.

BUMBLE BONUS: Want to get Asher's hair?
Ashley's long waves constantly undergo heat and bleach-glob maintenance. It is vital to take care of those heavenly hippie hues of hair. Try using Bumble & Bumble Creme de Coco Shampoo and Conditioner. This bad boy does miracles on dry hair and alleviates any room for a frizz disaster. Not only is it infused with Coconut and Murumuru butter making for a delicious scent, but it is virtually the ONLY conditioner that can brush through any Spanish mane in less than three strokes (we would know).  Thus, this conditioner primes for the perfect soft wave.
